About the Site

So, you want to know more eh?
This site is all about sharing knowledge. You won't find any ads on this site because it's not here to "create a revenue stream" or "monetize traffic". Maybe someday I will offer some extra special content that people can purchase if they want to, but that's not what it is about.
This is all about me (Chris Kelley) putting some information out there that hopefully some people will find useful. Since as far back as I can remember I have loved helping and teaching people about motion graphics and related software. After college I was offered a position to teach, but I wanted instead to get out here to Los Angeles and try my hand in the industry - and it has gone very well - but I have missed being able to lend my knowledge to others trying to learn the tricks of the trade that some guard so closely.

So Here it is, my offering to anyone who will listen - come to The Mograph Blog to learn, to share, to discuss or just to lurk. Chris Kelley is a freelance animator in Los Angeles. He also does some pretty sweet development. I (um... yeah I'm Chris Kelley) thrive on making really cool stuff for really cool companies. I've been called a "self-starter" and a "finisher" more than once in my career, and I pride myself on a reputation of efficiency and clean delivery. My mind is wired to constantly think of better, more efficient ways of working, often cross-pollinating my animation and programming to achieve the ultimate goal.
